About this experience
Ride the Devil's Staircase — a dramatic mountain trail hugging the hairpin bends above Bambarakanda Falls, the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka. Over six hours, you push through misty highland terrain with sheer drops to one side and cascading white water to the other. Choose to tackle the route as a climb, grinding uphill through the bends, or launch downhill at full speed — either way, the riding is serious and the scenery is relentless.
This is a private activity, so the pace is yours. Lakpura supplies a high-end bike, helmet, and a bottle of water, with first aid and spares carried throughout the ride. Return transport is included. Riders must be at least seven years old. Gratuities and food or drinks beyond the included water are not covered, so bring snacks and local currency for the road.
