Breathe in the cool mountain air on this private cycling tour of Nuwara Eliya. You start at Gregory Park at 8:00 or 9:00 am, depending on the start time you choose, where your experienced cycling guide and supporting crew have your bike and helmet ready. Ride past Gregory Lake and out through the highland countryside, with rolling hills, vegetable farms, small villages and neatly trimmed tea bushes on either side, to a picturesque tea plantation.
After the plantation visit you continue to Lover's Leap Waterfall, a beautiful fall framed by tea-covered hills and lush greenery, with time to take in the setting and take photographs before cycling back to Gregory Park. The full route, Gregory Park to the tea plantation, Lover's Leap Waterfall and back to Gregory Park, takes about two and a half hours. Cycles with helmets, the services of a knowledgeable local cycling guide, water and refreshments during the ride, and all taxes and service charges are included. The tour is private, conducted in English, and open to riders aged eight and above. Food and drinks, gratuities and personal expenses are not included.
