About this experience
Montez à bord d'une barque en bois d'un pêcheur local et lancez votre ligne dans le Parakrama Samudra — l'un des plus grands anciens réservoirs du Sri Lanka, s'étendant aux abords de Polonnaruwa. Votre guide vous remet une canne à pêche traditionnelle, du même type que celle utilisée par les habitants depuis des générations, et vous montre les meilleurs endroits pour attraper du poisson d'eau douce. La session dure deux heures en pleine eau, avec des vues panoramiques du lac et du paysage ancien environnant.
Ceci est une activité privée, donc c'est juste vous et votre pêcheur — pas de foule, pas de bateau partagé. L'équipement de pêche traditionnel est fourni, et une boisson est incluse pour vous tenir à l'aise sur l'eau : choisissez entre le thé, le café ou une bière fraîche. Les participants doivent être âgés de 15 ans ou plus. Notez que les transferts hôtel et la nourriture ne sont pas inclus, donc organisez votre propre transport jusqu'au lac avant le début de la session.
