About this experience
El Templo de la Reliquia del Diente Sagrado en Kandy es uno de los sitios más venerados del budismo y una propiedad designada como Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Dentro de sus santuarios dorados e intricadamente decorados reposa la reliquia del diente sagrado de Buda, atrayendo a peregrinos y visitantes de todo el mundo. El complejo data del siglo XVII y lleva consigo un legado real que moldeó la historia cultural y religiosa de Sri Lanka.
La visita guiada dura aproximadamente una hora, durante la cual un guía que habla inglés acompaña a los visitantes a través de la historia del templo, los rituales observados dentro de sus muros y los detalles arquitectónicos que hacen que el complejo sea tan distintivo. El recorrido está abierto a visitantes de cinco años en adelante y se realiza en inglés como una experiencia de formato grupal organizada por Lakpura.
