Ihre private 11-stündige Tagestour nach Kandy beginnt mit einer Hotelabholung von Mount Lavinia. Ihr englischsprachiger Chauffeurführer fährt Sie in einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug durch das Hügelland zur letzten königlichen Hauptstadt Sri Lankas. Im Tempel der Heiligen Zahnreliquie spazieren Sie durch die kunstvollen Schreine und erleben die geschichtete Architektur, die seit Jahrhunderten Pilger anzieht. Danach betreten Sie die Werkstätten lokaler Handwerker – Edelsteinkünstler, Holzschnitzer und Batik-Macher – um das Handwerk aus nächster Nähe zu beobachten und ein handgefertigtes Souvenir zu kaufen.
Die Tour führt Sie auch zu den Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, die eine außergewöhnliche Sammlung seltener und tropischer Pflanzen auf landschaftlich gestalteten Grünflächen neben dem Mahaweli River beherbergen. Pro Person wird den ganzen Tag über eine Wasserflasche zur Verfügung gestellt.
