Windsorforest Estate (Galamuduna)

Windsorforest Estate is the garden mark for the Galamuduna Estate. Located 22 kilometres from Nawalapitiya, it comprises of five divisions – New Clearing, Galamuduna, Meenagolla, Windsorforest and St. Troom. The estate derives its name from an unusual rock situated on top of the hill. Ma Oya, one of Sri Lanka’s major rivers begins its journey within the environs of the estate, cascading down in a stunning waterfall. According to records, Galamuduna was the 7th tea factory to be registered in Ceylon. Situated at an elevation between 914.4 meters and 1,219.5 meters, the estate produces around 30 kilogram's of the highly prized and prestigious Silver Tips.
