Patna Sliding Rock

Patna Sliding Rock is a natural water slide located in Viharahena near Deniyaya, Sri Lanka. A smooth, gently sloping rock surface, approximately 15?m long, channels water into a refreshing pool below, offering a fun and relaxing outdoor experience.

Set amidst lush tea plantations and close to the edge of the Sinharaja Rainforest, the site offers scenic surroundings filled with dense greenery and diverse birdlife. It combines natural beauty with the thrill of sliding down a rock into clear, cool water.

Visiting the rock requires navigating a rough last mile path best done by motorbike, on foot, or in a 4WD vehicle followed by a short trek through vegetation. Proper footwear is recommended.
