Ella Nature Life Guest & Restaurant, also known as Ella Nature Cafe, is a small guest house and restaurant in the quiet Kithalella area of Ella, in Sri Lanka's hill country, about 2 km from Ella town and the railway station.
There are 15 Deluxe Double rooms with private balconies and mountain views, extra-large double beds and private bathrooms with hot water, plus five single rooms for solo travellers and drivers. Rooms have fans, tea-making facilities and toiletries; an air cooler and a mini fridge can be added for a small nightly charge. Wi-Fi is free.
The in-house restaurant and room service run around the clock, serving Western and Sri Lankan breakfasts (string hoppers, hoppers, pittu, rotti) and kottu, fried rice or rice and curry for lunch and dinner. Sri Lankan cooking classes, BBQ evenings, laundry, scooter, tuk-tuk and car hire, airport transfers and tours can be arranged, and pickup from Ella town is free during the day.
Kithalella Waterfall is a 5-10 minute walk away and the Ella Rock trail starts about 1.5 km from the property. Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam's Peak are around 15 minutes by tuk-tuk, Ravana Falls about 20 minutes.
