About this experience
Board a shared boat from Mirissa and head south into the Indian Ocean in search of the largest mammals on earth. Over seven hours, you scan open waters for blue whales, sperm whales, and fin whales moving through one of Sri Lanka's most rewarding marine corridors. Lakpura arranges hotel pick-up and drop-off, transfers in an air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur, entrance tickets, and a litre of bottled mineral water per person — so you arrive at the jetty ready to go.
Children aged five and above are welcome on board. Food and drinks are not included, so bring snacks or cash for anything you'd like to buy independently. Gratuities are optional and at your discretion. Minimum age is 5 years.
