Sanctuary Resort is set in Rakwana City, close to some of Sabaragamuwa Province's best-known natural sights, including Galdola Ella Falls, Handapan Ella Falls and the viewpoint at Mini World's End. Udawalawe National Park, well known for its elephants, is around 29 miles away and makes for a good day trip from the resort.
Rooms are arranged across three categories - Standard, Superior and Deluxe - each fitted with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries.
