About this experience

Begin in Weligama and head inland to Yala National Park, the second-largest reserve on the island, set along Sri Lanka's south-eastern coast. Your English-speaking chauffeur collects you from your hotel and drives you in an air-conditioned vehicle to the gate, where your safari jeep and its driver-tracker are ready to lead you into the tropical wild.

The three-hour jeep safari gives you the chance to spot the famous Sri Lankan leopard, indigenous wild water buffalo, Sri Lankan sloth bear and large herds of Sri Lankan elephants.
