About this experience
Board your private jeep and head into Hurulu Eco Park, the final stop on Sri Lanka's famous elephant migration corridor. From December to January, herds that have moved through Minneriya and Kaudulla national parks settle here as the dry season draws them to reliable water sources. Your experienced driver doubles as your naturalist tracker, reading the landscape and guiding you to the best sightings over three hours in the park.
The safari seats a maximum of six passengers, keeping the experience personal and unrushed. Lakpura includes free pickup and drop-off from any point within 5 km of the park gate, plus a water bottle per person. Park entrance tickets, food, and gratuities are not included, so carry some cash. Children from age five are welcome on this private, English-guided outing.
