Located in the heart of medieval Troyes, near the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace, this half-timbered residence—with foundations dating back to the 12th century—once belonged to the Knights of the Order of Malta. Known as 'La Maison de Rhodes, ' it has served throughout the centuries as both a convent and a canon's residence. Its present garden occupies the former site of the cemetery of the now-vanished Church of Saint Dennis. Acquired in 1998, and after five years of preparation and restoration, the 800-square-meter property adds a new chapter to its history as a charming hotel, opening onto a paved courtyard and a medieval garden.
