This Zesta herbal infusion is a blend of herbs and spices in tea bags, from the Sri Lankan tea brand whose boxes carry the line The Art of Tea. It comes as 20 enveloped tea bags in a 40g box, each bag brewing a single cup.
The ingredients printed on the box are fenugreek, garcinia, black seed, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cumin, sena leaf and pepper. Fenugreek and garcinia lead the list on the front panel, and the box illustrates them beside the other herbs and spices in the blend.
The box gives a simple brewing guide. Place one tea bag in a cup, pour over 200ml of water at 100°C and leave it for 3 to 5 minutes before lifting the bag out. The maker asks for the box to be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Zesta is a brand of Sunshine Consumer Lanka Ltd in Colombo, which packs and markets this infusion. The box states that it was packed in an FSSC 22000 accredited manufacturing plant, and each tea bag comes in its own envelope.
