About this experience
Step into a private jeep and spend eight hours exploring Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka's largest national park, on a full-day safari departing from your hotel in Sigiriya. An English-speaking tracker and guide ride with you throughout, pointing out the park's network of natural lakes — called villus — where leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer, and water buffalo gather. Wilpattu holds one of the highest leopard densities on the island, making it one of the best places in Sri Lanka to spot this elusive cat in the wild.
