Skip the ticket queue at Wilpattu National Park and head straight into Sri Lanka's largest national park on a 3-hour private safari. Your 4x4 jeep — shared between no more than six passengers — is driven by an experienced tracker who knows the park's dense scrub forests and villus (natural lakes) where leopards, sloth bears, and elephants are commonly spotted. A complimentary water bottle per person is included, and Lakpura arranges free pickup and drop-off from any point within 5 km of the park gate.
Wilpattu's remote location makes advance planning essential. Note that jeep-only bookings require entrance fees to be paid in cash on arrival, and hotel transfers beyond the 5 km radius carry an additional charge. Minimum age for the safari is 5 years. Gratuities, food, drinks, and personal expenses are not included.
