About this experience
Board a shared boat out of Koggala and head south into the open Indian Ocean, where blue whales, sperm whales, and fin whales surface in some of the richest cetacean waters on the planet. Your English-speaking chauffeur collects you from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle, transfers you to the departure point, and returns you safely at the end of the day — with entrance tickets and a litre of bottled water included throughout the seven-hour outing.
Minimum age for this tour is five years, making it a practical choice for families. Food and drinks beyond the provided water are not included, so bring snacks or purchase them locally before departure. Gratuities are entirely optional.
