About this experience
Board your private vehicle in Hikkaduwa and head inland to Udawalawe National Park for a two-day wildlife escape. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide handles all driving, parking, and highway tolls, so you arrive ready to explore. Two 500 ml water bottles per person are provided each day to keep you refreshed on the road.
Two half-day jeep safaris — one during the day and one in the evening — take you deep into the park, where wild elephant herds gather around natural lakes and cool springs. Keep your eyes open for Water Buffalo, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Jackal, Black-naped Hare, Mongoose, and the endemic Toque Macaque and Grey Langur. Hotel accommodation, meals, and park entrance fees are not included and are arranged separately.
