This is a private road transfer between Colombo (CMB) Airport and Silver Sands, chartered as a whole vehicle with its own English-speaking chauffeur-guide. The hotel stands on Lewis Place, the beach road of Negombo on Sri Lanka's west coast, about 2.2 km from Negombo Railway Station. The drive covers about 8.8 km from the airport and usually takes 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic and the weather on the day.
After a long flight there is nothing to arrange. Your chauffeur-guide meets you in the arrivals lobby, with 60 minutes of free waiting time included, helps with your luggage and drives you straight to the hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, with 500 ml of bottled water per person on board and our support team on call 24/7. Add your flight number when you book so the pickup is timed to your arrival.
The transfer works in either direction: book it for your arrival, for the short drive back to the airport at the end of your stay, or once for each. Choose the vehicle to suit your party and luggage, from a car for one or two travellers up to a mini coach for groups of up to 15. The fare covers the whole vehicle rather than a seat, and it already includes airport entry and parking charges, highway tolls, taxes and service charges.
The fare does not cover extra stops along the way, baby or booster seats, oversized luggage such as surfboards or golf bags, transport for differently-abled passengers, or pets. Your chauffeur chooses the best route on the day, and once you are settled in Negombo the beach is on the doorstep, with the fish market, the Dutch Fort and the Negombo Lagoon all within easy reach.
