This is a private road transfer between Colombo (CMB) Airport and Brookside Resort by Earl's, chartered as a whole vehicle with its own English-speaking chauffeur-guide. The resort stands on a hill overlooking the Dumbara Valley near Wattegama, about 0.6 km from Wattegama Railway Station and around 40 minutes' drive beyond the centre of Kandy. The drive to Kandy covers about 114 km inland from the airport and usually takes 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and the weather on the day, before the last stretch out to the resort.
After a long flight there is nothing to arrange. Your chauffeur-guide meets you in the arrivals lobby, with 60 minutes of free waiting time included, helps with your luggage and drives you straight to the resort in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, with 500 ml of bottled water per person on board and our support team on call 24/7. Add your flight number when you book so the pickup is timed to your arrival.
The transfer works in either direction: book it for your arrival, for the drive back to the airport at the end of your stay, or once for each. Choose the vehicle to suit your party and luggage, from a car for one or two travellers up to a mini coach for groups of up to 15. The fare covers the whole vehicle rather than a seat, and it already includes airport entry and parking charges, highway tolls, taxes and service charges.
