About this experience

Board a private 4x4 safari jeep and head into Minneriya National Park, home to the largest seasonal gathering of Asian elephants on the planet. Your experienced driver doubles as your tracker, guiding you to the reservoir where herds congregate to feed, bathe, and play in the open. Each jeep carries a maximum of six passengers, so sightlines are unobstructed and the pace is yours. A bottle of water per person is included, and park entrance tickets are covered when you select the "Jeep With Tickets" option.

The safari runs for three hours, with Lakpura arranging pickup and drop-off from any location within five kilometres of the park gate. Guests outside that radius arrange their own transfer to the gate. Children aged five and above are welcome on board. Food, drinks beyond the included water, and gratuities are not covered.
