About this experience
Pedal through the wetlands fringing Colombo on this private 3.5-hour cycling tour, stopping at Thalangama Lake and Baddegana Wetland Park with an English-speaking guide at your side. High-quality bicycles sized to your height, a well-fitting helmet, binoculars and a birding field guide are all provided — so you can focus on scanning the reeds for endemic and rarely seen species rather than worrying about gear.
Your guide keeps the pace relaxed, pointing out waterbirds, forest species and whatever else crosses your path. Snacks are included to keep you going between sightings. The tour is private, so the itinerary moves at your rhythm. Open to participants aged five and above; hotel pick-up, meals and gratuities are not included.
