About this experience
Board a small boat from Nilaveli beach and cross the short stretch of water to Pigeon Island, one of Sri Lanka's two national marine parks. Once you arrive, strap on your snorkelling equipment — provided for you — and drop into the shallow, clear water to explore the coral gardens and the reef fish, sea turtles, and other marine life that thrive just beneath the surface. The private activity runs for two and a half hours in total, with hotel pick-up and drop-off included alongside your entrance tickets.
Participants must be aged 12 or over. Food, drinks, gratuities, and personal expenses are not covered, so bring a little cash if needed. Lakpura organises the full logistics, leaving you to focus on what matters: the water, the coral, and the life beneath it.
