Siddhalepa Supirivicky Mild is an Ayurvedic toothpaste produced in Sri Lanka by Siddhalepa, a brand with roots going back to 1971 and a manufacturing heritage that stretches across more than twenty countries of export. The Mild variant is a deliberately softer formulation within the Supirivicky range, drawing on a blend of nine botanical ingredients rather than the sharper, more pungent profile of the original. It is available in 40 g, 70 g, and 110 g tubes, the last of which can also be ordered as a pack of six.
The ingredient list reads like a shorthand for the Sri Lankan and broader Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia. Garcinia cambogia — the fruit known locally as Goraka — is the signature ingredient and is named prominently on the front of every pack. Alongside it sit Terminalia chebula fruit powder (Aralu), the bud oil of Eugenia caryophyllus (Clove), the leaf oil of Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Ceylon cinnamon), the root extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice), Tephrosia purpurea root extract (Kathurupila), the bark extract of Mimusops elengi (Moonamal / Spanish cherry), and Piper nigrum fruit (Black pepper). The 40 g pack also includes Barleria prionitis bark extract. These botanicals are combined with standard toothpaste excipients including Calcium Carbonate, Sorbitol, Glycerin, and Aqua.
The toothpaste carries no fluoride — the pack declares it a non-fluoridated toothpaste — and contains no artificial colourings or chemical preservatives. Its noticeably dark colour is a direct consequence of the natural herbal ingredients rather than any added dye. The product is declared suitable for vegetarians on the packaging. Sodium Saccharin is used as a sweetener.
Supirivicky Mild is made by Hamdard Industries (Pvt) Ltd. in Ratmalana, Sri Lanka, under the Siddhalepa brand. The manufacturing company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and OHSAS certifications, as printed on the packaging. Siddhalepa was the first Ayurvedic manufacturer in Asia to receive an ISO quality systems certificate, a distinction that underscores the rigour applied to production.
To use, brush twice daily. Tubes should be stored below 30°C and the paste is intended for external use only. The 40 g size is a practical choice for travel or for trying the product for the first time; the 70 g and 110 g tubes suit everyday household use, and the six-pack of 110 g tubes is well suited to regular international shoppers stocking up.
