Siddhalepa Pas Oil (30ml) is a traditional lamp oil from the Ayur Oils range, in a 30ml bottle. Pas means five: it is a blend of five oils, burnt in an oil lamp with a cloth wick to scent the home. It is not for eating.
Sri Lankan households light pas oil lamps for incensing the home, including homes with small children. The maker describes its Ayur Oils as blended to time-tested Ayurvedic formulas.
Ingredients
- Neem oil (Azadirachta indica)
- Ghee oil
- Mee oil (Madhuca longifolia)
- Castor oil (Ricinus communis)
- Sesame oil (Sesamum indicum)
How to use
- Pour a suitable amount of oil into a lamp.
- Insert a cloth wick and let it soak in the oil.
- Light the wick and place the lamp in a safe, open position.
