Siddhalepa Ayur Immune Tea (40g) is a herbal tea blend of five plants: brinjal (Solanum melongena), yellow-berried nightshade (Solanum xanthocarpum), long pepper (Piper longum), coriander (Coriandrum sativum) and ginger (Zingiber officinale). The maker packs it in 20 sachets and suggests three cups a day, after meals.
It is one of the Ayur herbal tea range, the everyday range of Siddhalepa, which also includes Intellect, Breathe, Cleanse, Flow, Serene, Slim, Vital and Diacin. The blend draws on plants that are common in Sri Lankan kitchens and home gardens, such as coriander seed, ginger and long pepper, with the spice notes of ginger and long pepper in the cup.
