Siddhalepa Ayur Elixir Well Being (220ml) is a classical Ayurvedic preparation, an arishta (a liquid herbal elixir taken by mouth), made with Elettaria repens, Mesua ferrea, Piper longum, Pogostemon heyneanus and Vitis vinifera. Siddhalepa sells this formula as Dasamularistaya in its Ayur Elixirs range, and it is taken before meals as the maker directs below.
An arishta is made by slowly fermenting a decoction of herbs, a method described in the classical Ayurvedic texts and still widely used in Sri Lanka. Ayur is the everyday Siddhalepa range, and its elixirs come in 220ml bottles.
