About this experience
Slip beneath Kalpitiya's clear blue waters on this private two-hour scuba dive along Sri Lanka's northwest coast. The site splits into two sections — head north-east and you'll encounter eagle rays, electric rays, marble rays, napoleon wrasse, grouper, and an abundance of tropical fish set against hard and soft corals. The rock top sits at 17.5 metres, dropping to a sandy bottom at 23 metres, with sandstone crevasses that keep the descent varied. A paid divemaster or instructor leads every dive, all diving equipment is supplied, and a bottle of mineral water is included. Open to ages 12 and over, running November to April.
This is a private activity, just your group in the water. Hotel pick-up, food, drinks, and gratuities aren't included, so arrange your own transport to the dive site and sort meals separately. Book through Lakpura to secure your place.
