About this experience
Meet your guide at Pinnawala, clip on your helmet, and pedal out towards Molagoda — one of Sri Lanka's oldest pottery villages, with roots that local folklore traces back to the Kandyan Era. Your well-experienced cycling guide leads the entire route on mountain bikes provided, so you can focus on the ride through the surrounding countryside rather than navigation. The tour runs for eight hours and is private, meaning the pace and attention are entirely yours.
Arrive in Molagoda and step into a living craft tradition where potters still shape clay by hand using techniques passed down through generations. Lunch at the village is included, giving you a genuine taste of rural Sri Lanka between the morning ride and the afternoon return. Helmets and mountain bikes are supplied; hotel pick-up, entrance fees, and gratuities are not included, so factor those in when you plan your day. Minimum age for participants is five years.
