About this experience
Skip the ticket queue and step straight into Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka's UNESCO-listed ancient capital. Your entrance ticket is arranged in advance by Lakpura, so you spend your two hours exploring the site rather than waiting at the gate. An English-speaking guide walks you through the sprawling ruins, bringing the medieval Sinhalese kingdom to life — from the Royal Palace and Gal Vihara's colossal rock-cut Buddhas to the Rankoth Vehera stupa and the Lotus Pond.
This is a group tour lasting two hours. Pick-up and drop-off to and from the site are not included, so arrange your own transport to the entrance beforehand. Gratuities, food, drinks, and personal expenses are not covered. Guests must be aged five or older to join.
