Lifebuoy Cool Fresh is a menthol bathing bar made in Sri Lanka by Unilever Sri Lanka in Colombo. This is the 75g bar, wrapped in the pale blue Cool Fresh paper with its pattern of ice cubes and mint leaves, and the words With Menthol printed on every face of the pack.
Menthol is the point of this variety. It is listed among the ingredients alongside thymol and terpineol, and it gives the bar the cool, minty feel in the shower that the Cool Fresh name refers to. The soap base is made from sodium palmate and sodium palm kernelate, with glycerin, sorbitol and perfume.
It is sold as a bathing bar with 60% TFM, or total fatty matter. The bar is a compact size that suits a soap dish at home, a travel wash bag or a guest bathroom, and the paper wrap keeps it tidy in a suitcase until it is opened.
