Lakpura® White Sandalwood Powder is finely ground heartwood of white sandalwood, Santalum album, the tree known in Sinhala as sudu handun. It has a soft, woody fragrance and a smooth texture, and the powder itself is a pale, warm buff colour.
Sandalwood has a long ceremonial life in Sri Lanka and across South Asia, and the powder is widely used in traditional ceremonies, spiritual rituals and natural skincare routines.
It is prepared for face packs, herbal scrubs, incense and other craft formulations, and processed to keep its aroma and consistency, so it mixes evenly whether it is going into a paste, a scrub or a home-made incense blend.
The powder is produced by Lakpura Solutions (Pvt) Ltd in Moratuwa and carries the line Freshly Picked, Packed and Shipped from Sri Lanka. It comes in a clear sealed pouch with a printed card label, and is offered as a natural aromatic and cosmetic ingredient, not as a medicine.
