Lakpura Hala Leaf is a bundle of fresh-cut decorative foliage from Sri Lanka, sold as 20 leaves in the medium grade. Each leaf is long, narrow and sword-shaped, tapering to a fine point, and the set pictured mixes plain deep-green blades with blades edged and striped in pale yellow.
Cut decorative foliage is an established Sri Lankan export, grown in both native and exotic varieties and available throughout the year rather than by season. The Hala leaf sits in the same Lakpura range of cut leaves as the Calathea and Croton bundles.
The leaves are supplied loose and cut at the base, so the bundle arrives as individual blades rather than a potted plant. Medium describes the size grade within the range, and the order is counted by the leaf, with 20 in each bundle.
