Lakpura® Dehydrated Guava Leaves Powder is a single-ingredient herbal powder made from 100% pure natural Psidium guajava leaves, handpicked, dehydrated, and packed in Sri Lanka before being shipped fresh to your door. The guava — known locally as pera — is a tree deeply familiar to Sri Lankan gardens and markets, and its leaves have long been gathered for use in traditional infusions and topical preparations across many tropical cultures. There are no fillers, blends or additional ingredients: what arrives in the pouch is simply the leaf, finely powdered.
Psidium guajava belongs to the myrtle family and is native to tropical regions of the Americas, though it has been cultivated across Asia and the tropics for centuries. The leaves contain a range of naturally occurring plant compounds including tannins, flavonoids, phenolic acids, carotenoids, and vitamin C. These are the constituents that give the dried leaf its distinctive character — a mild, earthy quality that comes through clearly when the powder is brewed as a warm infusion.
Preparing the powder as a leaf tea is straightforward. Bring one cup of fresh water to the boil, add half a teaspoon of the powder, stir well, and allow it to simmer gently for three to five minutes. Remove from the heat and strain through a fine tea strainer. The result can be served warm as it is, or with a little honey if preferred. Beyond infusions, the packaging notes that the powder is also suitable for skin and hair care applications.
The powder comes in a white inner pouch sealed inside a clear outer plastic bag, in your choice of 100 g or 200 g. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. The pack carries a General Warning notice; please read it in full before use. The product is freshly picked, packed, and shipped from Sri Lanka by Lakpura, and distributed through Lakpura LLC in the United States.
