Lakpura® Cedarwood Essential Oil is a small amber dropper bottle of pure cedarwood oil, labelled Cedrus sp. and steam-distilled from cedarwood bark. Its aroma is sweet and woodsy, and in perfumery terms it is a base note, the kind of deep, lasting scent that sits underneath lighter notes in a blend.
The label lists a single ingredient, cedarwood bark essential oil, at a stated purity of 100%. Its long-lasting woodsy scent is what has made cedarwood a popular ingredient in colognes and aftershaves.
The oil is packed and distributed by Caveman Redux in Navinna, Colombo, a Sri Lankan supplier of essential oils, herbs and natural goods. The bottle holds 15 ml (0.5 oz), sealed with a black screw cap over a dropper insert, and carries a parchment-style label with the details printed front and back.
Essential oils are highly concentrated, and the maker advises diluting this one in a carrier oil before it goes anywhere near skin.
