Board your private jeep — maximum six passengers — and head into Lahugala Kitulana National Park with an experienced driver and an English-speaking naturalist beside you. Over three hours, scan the reservoir edges where herds of wild elephants gather to graze, keep your binoculars trained on the wetlands for the hundreds of aquatic bird species that nest here, and stay alert for a sighting of the elusive Sri Lankan Leopard. Your naturalist identifies species, reads animal behaviour, and ensures you make the most of every encounter. A water bottle is provided per person, and Lakpura arranges free pick-up and drop-off from any hotel within 5 km of the park gate.

Park entrance tickets are included when you select the "Jeep with Tickets" option at booking. The minimum age for this private safari is five years. Hotels beyond the 5 km pick-up radius, meals, and gratuities are not covered.
