About this experience
Pedal and walk your way through the layered history of the Kotte kingdom on this private six-hour cycling tour from Mount Lavinia. Among the sprawling buildings of Sri Lanka's commercial capital lie the ruins of the country's last unified kingdom, and your English-speaking host leads you along the historic route, unpacking stories of battle, betrayal, royal literature, and the kingdom's ultimate downfall. Along the way you visit numerous historical sites, an ancient temple, and a museum. High-quality bicycles sized to your height and helmets are provided throughout.
This is a private tour, so the pace and conversation are yours to shape. Snacks and water keep you going across the six hours.
