Board your private safari jeep at your Sigiriya hotel and head into Kaudulla National Park for a three-hour wildlife drive through one of Sri Lanka's most rewarding reserves. Your experienced driver doubles as your tracker, guiding you along the banks of the Kaudulla tank as herds of elephants gather at the water's edge. Keep your binoculars ready for the calls of unfamiliar tropical birds, and scan the scrub for the albino axis deer — a rarity said to exist only within this park. A bottle of water per person is provided, and all taxes and service charges are covered.
