About this experience
Step into a 4×4 safari jeep at Kaudulla National Park and spend three hours scanning the reservoir's edge for Sri Lanka's famous elephant gatherings. Your experienced driver doubles as your tracker, reading the terrain and guiding you to the best wildlife sightings across the park. Each passenger receives a complimentary water bottle, and free pickup and drop-off is included for any location within 5 km of the park gate. The jeep carries a maximum of six passengers, keeping the experience personal and uncluttered.
Skip the ticket queue entirely — Lakpura arranges your park entrance ticket in advance when you select the "Jeep With Tickets" option, so you roll straight through the gate without delay. The three-hour window is well-suited to spotting elephants, water buffalo, and the rich birdlife that congregates around the tank. Minimum age for this safari is 6 years.
