About this experience
On the 5th night of the Kumbal Perahera, Kandy's ancient procession reaches the close of its early phase in grand style. Traditional dancers, drummers, and fire performers fill the streets outside the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, while elaborately decorated elephants carry the Sacred Tooth Relic casket in a display that is more organised and elaborate than the preceding nights. Your private seat gives you a clear, unobstructed view of the full two-hour spectacle — no jostling for position on the roadside.
This Lakpura booking covers your entry fee and a reserved private seat. Guests must be aged 12 or older. Food, drinks, and a personal guide are not included, so arrive prepared with refreshments. The 5th Kumbal Perahera marks the transition toward the grander Randoli Perahera nights ahead, making it an ideal introduction to one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated Buddhist festivals.
