About this experience
Climb into a private tuk-tuk and spend three hours weaving through Kandy's streets, temples, and local neighbourhoods at the pace the city deserves. Your English-speaking driver-guide steers you past the landmarks, shares the stories behind them, and keeps a cold water bottle handy for the ride. With just your group on board, the route bends to what you want to linger over — no shared coach, no fixed crowd.
The tuk-tuk is as much of the experience as Kandy itself. This three-wheeled icon is woven into daily Sri Lankan life, and riding one through a UNESCO-listed hill city is the most direct way to feel that culture first-hand.
