Jeewaka Sambrani is a loose incense of benzoin resin, sold by Jeewaka in a 100g pack and a 1kg pack. Sambrani is the Sinhala and Tamil name for benzoin, a resin long burnt in Sri Lankan homes and temples for its sweet, warm smoke.
It is not lit directly. A pinch is placed on hot charcoal or on a hot plate, where it melts and gives off fragrant smoke.

How to use
Light a piece of charcoal in a heat-safe incense burner and let it turn grey, then sprinkle a small pinch of sambrani on top. Add more as the smoke fades. Use in a well ventilated room, never leave a lit burner unattended, and keep away from children and pets.
Storage
Keep the pack sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat and flame.
