About this experience
Bible Rock — known locally as Bathelegala — is a striking square-topped formation that rises above the Kadugannawa Pass, visible for kilometres along the Kandy Road. On this private, five-hour hiking tour from Kegalle, your English-speaking trekking guide leads you through the forested slopes and up to the summit, where the ridge-line views reward every steep step. You carry a two-litre water bottle per person, and snacks are provided along the trail to keep you going.
Reach the top and sit down to a picnic breakfast with the mountains spread out around you. The minimum age for this hike is 12, and all taxes and service charges are covered in the price.
