Mee Oil (Mee Thel) is a pure mee oil from Gampaha Wickramarachchi, listed by the maker among its natural oils alongside sesame, mustard, castor and neem oil.
Mee is the oil of the seed of the mee tree (Madhuka longifolia), a tree long known in Sri Lanka. The pack describes it as 100% pure mee oil, used in cooking as well as in traditional herbal preparations. It is also one of the five oils in the maker's Pas Thel lamp oil.
