Maha Thuwala Oil (Maha Thuwala Thel) is an Ayurvedic medicated oil for external use from Gampaha Wickramarachchi, the family firm that has made Siddhayurveda preparations at Yakkala for four generations.
It is sold as a 100% Ayurvedic product. The pack gives a plain method of application with cotton wool rather than rubbing it in by hand.
Directions on the pack
- For external application only.
- Soak a piece of cotton wool in the oil and lay it over the area; the pack also describes binding the soaked cotton in place with a bandage.
- The manufacturing and expiry dates are printed on the lid.
