About this experience
Board your private Robinson R66 helicopter at Thondaman Stadium Norwood or Dunkeld Helipad at Tea Trails and lift off over hill-country tea estates towards the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya. Fitted with a Rolls-Royce RR300 turboshaft engine and seating four passengers, the R66 gives a smooth, fast ride as the view shifts from mist-covered highlands to the dry-zone plains of the Cultural Triangle — 80 minutes each way, landing at Sigiriya Airfield.
On the ground, a chauffeur guide drives you directly to the historical site and back, so your time goes into seeing the rock, not arranging transport. Ground transport from the landing point is included; entrance fees and meals are not. Minimum age is 10 years.
