About this experience
Board a purpose-built fishing boat at Kalpitiya and spend four hours trolling the deep waters of the Indian Ocean. A local expert fishing enthusiast joins you on board, guiding your technique and handling all the equipment — everything you need is provided. This is a private excursion, so it's just your group out on the water. Family members are welcome at no extra charge.
The season runs from November to March, when conditions on the Western coast are at their best. The trip goes ahead subject to prevailing weather, and Lakpura's local experts handle all on-the-ground arrangements. Food and drinks are not included, so bring your own provisions for the four hours at sea.
