About this experience
Pedal through Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka's oldest city, on a private 7-hour cycling tour led by an experienced guide. Helmet and mountain bike are provided, and a backup vehicle follows the route so you ride at your own pace. Stop among ruins that date back over two thousand years — ancient dagobas, royal pleasure gardens, and sacred Bo trees — while your guide shares the local legends and stories that bring each site to life.
After exploring the city on two wheels, watch a hands-on cooking demonstration that introduces you to traditional Sri Lankan flavours. Refreshments are included throughout the day. The tour is private and conducted in English, with a minimum participant age of five. Entrance fees and hotel pick-up are not included — plan to arrange your own transfers and carry cash for site tickets.
