About this experience
This is a chauffeur-driven hire of a Roller Team Zefiro 269P, a low-profile motorhome built on a Fiat cab, for travelling Sri Lanka with your own vehicle and your own driver. An English-speaking chauffeur does all of the driving for the whole hire, so the road, the traffic and the route-finding are someone else's work while you look out of the window.
The Zefiro is laid out as a small home on wheels. Behind the two cab seats, which turn round to face the living area, is a dinette with a central table and bench seating, finished in cream upholstery with curtains at the windows. Along one side runs a galley in dark wood-effect cabinetry, with a gas hob, a stainless-steel sink and a tall fridge, and opposite sits a compact washroom with a toilet and wash basin. The cab is right-hand drive.
The hire covers the fully equipped motorhome, the service of the chauffeur throughout, the chauffeur's own accommodation, the cost of fuel and highway tolls, and all prevailing taxes and service charges other than credit card charges. Meals, drinking water and other beverages, parking fees, entrance fees where not specified, tips and porterage, entry visa fees, international or domestic airfare and any expenses of a personal nature are not included.
Days of hire are counted on a calendar-day basis, whatever time the service starts or ends. Mileage is counted from the moment your chauffeur first picks you up to the moment of the final drop-off, and a further 40 km is added at each end for the chauffeur's drive between the garage and your pickup and drop-off points. The vehicle is not wheelchair or stroller accessible, is not suitable for pets, and infants must not sit on laps.
