Cavadi Aroma Sandalwood is an incense stick from one of Sri Lanka's longest-standing makers of pooja and fragrance products. The Cavadi brand has been produced by McSons Organics (Pvt) Ltd since 1967, a manufacturer based in Ratmalana whose name has become closely associated with camphor, incense, and other items used in daily worship across the island.
The fragrance profile of the Sandalwood variant is described by the manufacturer as exotic, sweet, creamy, smooth, and warm — qualities that have made sandalwood one of the most enduring choices for both religious ritual and quiet moments at home. The Aroma range sits alongside three other variants — Classic, Legend, and Musk — each offering its own distinct character, from the woody and oriental notes of Legend to the earthy depth of Musk.
To use, light the tip of the stick and allow it to catch for a few seconds before gently blowing out the flame. The stick should then stand upright in an incense holder or heatproof container, where it will smoulder slowly and release its fragrance into the room.
